Itinerary:

Day 0 – Arrival & Orientation


Arrival in Bogotá followed by a private expedition briefing. We introduce the Andean ecological gradient, review target species, and align photographic and observation goals for the days ahead.

Target Species:
  • Green Bearded Helmetcrest (Oxypogon guerinii)

  • Silvery-throated Spinetail (Synallaxis subpudica)

  • Blue-throated Starfrontlet (Coeligena helianthea)

  • Golden-bellied Starfrontlet (Coeligena bonapartei)

  • Cundinamarca Antpitta (Grallaria kaestneri)

  • Bogotá Rail (Rallus semiplumbeus)

Included:
  • Guidance by professional biologists and wildlife photographers

  • Ground transportation throughout the expedition
