Along the forested slopes of Bogota’s eastern hills, this route follows a peaceful trail through high Andean forests filled with native vegetation and panoramic views of the city. It’s a perfect setting to observe hummingbirds and mountain birds while experiencing the transition from urban life to natural Andean landscapes. Target species: - Silvery-throated Spinetail (Synallaxis subpudica) - Blue-throated Starfrontlet (Coeligena helianthea) - Shining Sunbea (Aglaeactis cupripennis) - Chestnut-crowned Antpitta (Grallaria ruficapilla) - Green-tailed Trainbearer (Lesbina nuna) - Black-tailed Trainbearer (Lesbia victoriae) The experience includes Everything you need for a safe and inspiring day in nature: - Entrance to the reserve - Expert scientific guidance - Travel insurance - This experience does not include transportation. The meeting and ending point is the entrance of the birdwatching site.
